Meet the Queer Connect 2.0 Class of 2026: The Diversity Cohort
You shared. We listened. Now, we’re going bigger.
The Equality Pathway Initiative (TEPI) is proud to welcome the QConnect 2.0 Class of 2026 — The Diversity Cohort, bringing together approximately 40 participants for a journey of practical learning, confidence building and community connection.
Following QConnect 1.0, we listened to participants’ feedback and reflected on how to make the experience stronger. For this new edition, we are building on those lessons and bringing in two powerful co-facilitators with complementary experience in business, workforce development, human rights and community learning.
Our ambition is simple: to help LGBTQI+ young people develop skills they can use, recognise the value they bring and approach their next professional steps with greater confidence.
Building on QConnect 1.0
QConnect 2.0 responds to the questions that matter when preparing for work: How do I present my experience in a CV? How do I communicate my strengths during an interview? How do I navigate workplace relationships or approach a salary conversation?
Across four weeks, participants will explore CV preparation, interview skills, workplace communication and salary conversations. Through guided discussions, practical activities and peer learning, they will have opportunities to practise, ask questions and connect these lessons to their own goals.

Building on our first edition, we want to create an experience where participants feel heard, supported and equipped to take their next steps.
Two powerful facilitators, one shared purpose
This year, we are excited to introduce Edwin Wiffey and Wointokoni “Tokoni” Agbiaowei as our QConnect 2.0 co-facilitators.

Edwin Wiffey is a Nigerian-Cameroonian filmmaker, human rights activist and business consultant with over a decade of experience in operations, strategy and training. As Head of Operations at E-Hub Business Consult, he supports business growth and workforce development. He brings practical insights to help participants build professionalism, adaptability and the confidence to communicate their value.
Wointokoni “Tokoni” Agbiaowei is a facilitator, grant writer and programme professional with over five years of experience in public health, human rights and community development across Nigeria. He currently facilitates the Nkabom Leader Fellowship with ISHRAI, mentoring fellows in advocacy and strategic communication. His approach centres on helping participants leave each session with practical skills they can put to use.
Together, Edwin and Tokoni bring a strong combination of professional insight and community experience. By sharing delivery of the programme, they will bring depth, varied perspectives and focused support to the cohort’s learning journey.
Introducing the Diversity Cohort with care

Approximately 40 participants make up our Class of 2026, each bringing their own experiences, aspirations and perspectives.
As we celebrate this cohort, our public announcement graphics feature only participants who have consented to being publicly introduced. This reflects our commitment to safeguarding, respecting privacy and honouring each person’s choices about their visibility.
Every participant is an equally valued member of the Diversity Cohort, whether or not they appear in our public communications. Their access to learning, support and community does not depend on being publicly visible.

Welcome to your next chapter
To our Class of 2026: we are excited to learn with you. Your ambitions matter, your questions are welcome, and your contributions will help shape this experience.
